Apologies to any of you who have signed up for updates to this farrago of nonsense as you may have been plagued by update emails from WordPress. That’s simply because I’ve been trying to tidy up and rationalise the stuff, with new pages, posts etc. appearing and disappearing like magic. I also managed to delete a couple of comments by accident so thank you for them as well!
As your reward for reading this, I’d like to invite you to join me in an experiment. Those of you who use Google Earth (in my opinion, the best free program on the planet), may like to follow the links below here. One is to Bakau, where you will see the President’s International Award, Rhun Palm Inn – just across from the national stadium – where we will stay for most of the trip. The other shows Kerewan, where we’ll be – if all the plans work out, never guaranteed in Africa – for four or five days.
If you don’t use Google Earth, I heartily recommend it: it’s free, easily downloadable and installable and gives you a whole new view of the world. Proselytising over.
This is the first time I’ve tried doing this sort of link, so it may not work.
